Information we collect
Depending on how you use Tomegate, we may process:
- account information such as name, email address, authentication and session information;
- order and fulfillment information such as items purchased, shipping address, order status, tracking events, returns, refunds, and support history;
- payment-related transaction information supplied by our payment provider, such as payment status, amount, and provider references;
- communications and evidence you submit through support or other Tomegate contact channels; and
- technical and security information such as IP address, request logs, device or browser information, rate-limit activity, and security events.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide catalogue and checkout information, calculate orders and applicable tax, process payments, fulfill and track shipments, operate cancellations, returns and refunds, answer support requests, prevent and investigate abuse or fraud, reconcile commerce records, maintain service reliability, comply with legal obligations, and improve Tomegate.
Payment information
Payment-card entry and processing are handled through Stripe rather than by Tomegate support staff. Tomegate receives transaction status and provider references needed to operate an order, refund, reconciliation, or dispute workflow, but our application is designed not to receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.
Do not send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords, authenticator codes, recovery codes, or authentication tokens through Tomegate support or email.
Service providers and disclosures
Tomegate relies on service providers for functions such as payment processing, tax calculation, address validation, shipping and tracking, email delivery, infrastructure, security, and data storage. We provide those providers with information reasonably necessary to perform the relevant function. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction subject to applicable legal requirements.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for account operation, fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, security, financial reconciliation, tax and accounting records, dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. Tomegate uses access controls, authentication safeguards, security logging, rate limiting, operational monitoring, and restricted administrative access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or other handling of your personal information. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request. Email privacy@tomegate.com for privacy requests.
Children
Tomegate is a general-audience commerce service and is not designed for children to use independently where parental or guardian consent is legally required.
Changes to this policy
